in wayne news: i'm shedding a tear. this might just be speculation, i heard the same about lauren london. we'll see i suppose.
According to photographer and industry insider, FreddyO, singer Nivea is pregnant with rapper Lil Wayne’s baby. This is what Freddy had to say: “I would like to be the first to send my congratulations to [Nivea] and her baby daddy soon-to- be husband Wayne. The two are said to be marrying within the next few months. Hummmm I wonder about that. Wayne will also be having a child with the one and only Ms. Lauren London who is also pregnant by him . WOW…. I wonder what they said when they both found out about each other…”
In all, Lil Wayne has two children: daughter Reginae Carter, with his high school sweetheart Antonia “Toya” Johnson and son Dwayne Carter III, who was born on October 22, 2008. The rapper is also expecting a baby with actress Lauren London due later this year.

just in anne hathaway playing judy garland. i'm confident in that. did you see havoc? if you doubt anne's ability to act her motherfucking ass off.

Anne Hathaway is terrified about taking on the role of iconic singer Judy Garland - branding herself "insane" for agreeing to play the late star in a biopic.
The Devil Wears Prada actress will play the Wizard of Oz legend in a big screen adaptation of biographer Gerald Clarke's 2001 book Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland.
And despite showing off her song-and-dance skills during a musical medley with Hugh Jackman at the Oscars in February, Hathaway still isn't sure she has the talents to do the part justice.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I think I'm either naive or insane to play her - maybe a little bit of both!"
But at least Hathaway has the backing of another musical veteran - Garland's daughter Liza Minnelli.
She adds, "I haven't had a chance to talk to her about it yet, but I understand that as long as I treat Judy with respect - which of course I will - Liza is very happy about it."

in miley news: she's just being miley. the fickle teen she is. p.s. your ex looks way better than nick jonas. c'mon miley. maybe it's his purity that keeps calling her back.

Gone are the times of romantic, helmet-free bike rides and sweet sushi lunches. Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston are so over.
The 16-year-old starlet has ended her nine-month romance with the 20-year-old underwear model, sources close to the duo exclusively confirm to E! News.

The Hannah Montana star called things off last week as she prepared to leave Los Angeles for two months to shoot her Nicholas Sparks movie, The Last Song, in Savannah, Ga.

Speculation of trouble peaked yesterday when the two simultaneously twittered about tears and goodbyes.

A source close to the couple says both of them are really heartbroken over the split.

However, word is distance may not have been the only thing to come between the two. A certain famous ex-BF may have exacerbated the rift...

Gaston, a Louisiana native, has told pals that the star's resurrected friendship with Nick Jonas this spring was his Achilles' heel.

"She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing," says an insider. "She didn't cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time."

In fact, photos of the former pop power couple goofing around during a video shoot surfaced just yesterday. And Saturday, Cyrus left a mildly mysterious message on her Twitter account.

"I'm in a dark theater 'writing' a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! :)"

"Writing" is a euphemism for what, exactly, Miles?

Not only will Cyrus have a new man soon, she also has a new agent.

E! News has learned that the starlet dropped her agents at United Talent Agency and is now represented by CAA. Cyrus's music career has long been handled by CAA, but UTA represented her TV and film acting projects.

A rep for Cyrus had no comment.

who is max b? he's the shit. end of story.
Max B is a former member of Dipset and the Jim Jones Byrd Gang.

Former Byrd Gang associate Charles "Max B" Wingate has reportedly been found guilty on multiple felony murder conspiracy charges stemming from a fatal 2006 robbery.
While details are still scarce, the rapper has reportedly been detained by police after being read a guilty verdict Tuesday (June 9) morning.
Max B's verdict was announced just moments ago in the Bergen County Court House. He along with his brother were found guilty of 9 out of 11 counts. Max B was detained immediately. His sentencing date is set for July 30, 2009. Witnesses state Max B kept his head up and "took his verdict like a man". He did not break down once and remained strong through the entire verdict. His attorney plans to appeal the verdict. (Hip Hop Stan)
Max previously spoke on his legal case and prepared for his trial earlier this year.
"I'm just gonna leave it up to God and my lawyer Gerald Saluti, you know," he said in an interview. "Everything will work out. I'm just gonna let him do his job. I'm here on time. I'm at every court appearance, you know, I'm just here. People stay strong for me. Keep the support up." (Max B TV)
It was Max' former girlfriend who accepted a plea deal and implicated him in a fatal robbery.
Gina Conway and two others were charged with murder after a botched robbery at the Holiday Inn on Route 4 ended in the shooting death of one of the victims in September 2006. Conway met David Taylor and Allan "Jay" Plowden and told her boyfriend that the two men drove flashy cars and carried a lot of cash. The boyfriend, Charly "Max B" Wingate then recruited an associate to rob Taylor and Plowden, prosecutors said. (North Jersey News)
Max's laywer, Gerald Saluti, previously spoke with SOHH about Max's trial.
"It doesn't hurt his case in the least bit. You're talking about a person facing anywhere from 30 years to life basically attempting to snitch against Max and Kelvin Leerdam," Saluti said. "It is our position that Max B will be completely vindicated after the trial, which I think will be starting in April -- I relish the opportunity to cross examine Gina Conway." (SOHH)

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) -- Officials says a huge bomb has exploded at a luxury hotel in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, killing at least five people and wounding 25 others.

Police official Liaqat Ali says gunmen stormed into the Pearl Continental Hotel in the northwestern city on Tuesday night just before ''a big bomb went off.''
Sahibzada Anis, a top government official in Peshawar, says at least five people were killed and 25 wounded.
The blast is the latest in a string of attacks in Pakistani cities in recent weeks that officials say are revenge for a military offensive against Taliban militants in the Swat Valley.

Glastonbury 2009 to be hit by a monsoon?
If experts are correct, prepare to pack your wellies, waterproofs, snorkelling gear and dinghies. Still, on the positive side of things, you're unlikely to need that factor 50 sun cream..
A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall ... will the deluge come to this year's Glastonbury?
First the good news: light showers have not been predicted for this year's Glastonbury. The bad news, however, is that experts are predicting a monsoon instead. Yes, a monsoon.
Dr Craig Wallace of the University of Southampton has studied computer models of the weather over the last three decades. He noted that two monsoons sweep across Europe each June, explaining why this particular summer month is prone to downpours. Dr Wallace told the Times that the annual monsoon was the reason for bad weather in previous years and is likely to strike again, though it is impossible to predict exactly when.
Over on the glastowatch.co.uk site, weather predictions for the festival appear to confirm distinctly monsoon-like qualities, saying the weekend of 26-28 June will be "a tad hot, rainy and windy". The site names the long-range forecaster metcheck.com as its source.
The lineup for this year's festival was announced at the end of last month and includes headline performances from Neil Young, Bruce Springtseen and Blur. The Guardian is the official media sponsor of Glastonbury festival, which will take place between the 25-29 June 2009, come rain or monsoon.

Jon Voight blasted President Barack Obama at the Republican congressional fundraiser dinner at the Washington Convention Center on Monday (June 8) in Washington D.C. Here are snippets from the 70-year-old actor’s fiery speech:

“Are we supposed to sitting and waiting, watching for the possibility of a new Holocaust? Who’s going to take the responsibility to keep America, I mean Israel, safe. I’ll tell you why this really scares the hell out of me. Everything Obama has recommended has turned out to be disastrous.
“It saddens me greatly to think we were the great powerful good in the world. We as Americans knew America to be strong. We were the liberators of the entire world. We are becoming a weak nation.
“Obama really thinks he is a soft-spoken Julius Caeser. He think he’s going to conquer the world with his soft-spoken sweet talk and really thiin he’s going to bring all of the enemies of the world into a little playground, where they’ll swing each other back and forth.
“We and we alone are the right frame of mind to free this nation from this Obama oppression. Let’s give thanks to [Republicans] for not giving up and staying the course to bring an end to this false prophet, Obama.”

Bound, blindfolded and beaten – by Israeli troops
Children among Palestinian detainees abused during West Bank operation, according to soldiers' confessions

Two Israeli officers have testified that troops in the West Bank beat, bound and blindfolded Palestinian civilians as young as 14. The damaging disclosures by two sergeants of the Kfir Brigade include descriptions of abuses they say they witnessed during a search-and-detain operation involving hundreds of troops in Hares village on 26 March. The testimonies have been seen by The Independent and are expected to add fuel to the controversy over recent remarks by Colonel Itai Virob, commander of Kfir Brigade, in which he said violence against detained Palestinians was justified in order to accomplish missions.

Both the soldiers, from the Harub battalion, highlighted the tight tying of the plastic hand restraints placed on detainees. "There are people who think you need to tighten the restraints all the way, until no drop of blood will pass from here to there," one soldier said. "It doesn't take much time until the hands turn blue. There were a lot of people that you know weren't feeling anything."
He said about 150 Palestinians, some as young as 14, were bound, blindfolded and detained at the village school during the operation, which lasted from 3am to 3pm. He was told it was aimed at preventing village youths throwing stones against nearby settler roads. It was clear many of the people detained had done nothing wrong, but they were held to gather intelligence, he said.
The worst beatings were in the bathrooms, he said. "The soldiers who took [detainees] to the toilet just exploded [over] them with beatings; cursed them with no reason. When they took one Arab to the toilet so that he could urinate, one of them gave him a slap that brought him to the ground. He had been handcuffed from behind with a nylon restraint and blindfolded. He wasn't insolent, he didn't do anything to get on anyone's nerves ... [it was] just because he's an Arab. He was something like 15 years old." The soldier said he saw a lot of soldiers "just knee [Palestinians] because it's boring, because you stand there 10 hours, you're not doing anything, so they beat people up."
A second soldier described a "fanatical atmosphere" during the search operations. "We would go into a house and turn the whole thing upside down," he recalled, but no weapons were found. "They confiscated kitchen knives."
The first soldier said involvement was widespread."There were a lot of reservists that participated, and they totally had a celebration on the Palestinians: curses, humiliation, pulling hair and ears, kicks, slaps. These things were the norm." He said the incidents in the toilet were the "extreme" and added that the beatings did not draw blood. They were "dry beatings, but it's still a beating".
The second soldier said some troops stole from houses they searched, even though the people were so poor it was hard for them to find anything to take.
Last month, Colonel Virob testified in a military court that hitting detained Palestinians could be justified. "Standing them against walls, pushing them, a blow that doesn't cause injury. Certainly, these are things that are commonly used in an attempt to accomplish the mission," he said. Despite a reprimand of Colonel Virob by the head of central command, General Shamni, and a disavowal by army chief of staff Lt General Gabi Ashkenazi, the remarks are seen by Breaking the Silence, an organisation that collects testimonies of soldiers, as proof that the alleged abuses in Hares cannot be dismissed as an isolated occurrence or low-level improvisations.
In Hares, Ihab Shamlawi, a university student, recalled watching as a high school pupil asked soldiers permission to go to the bathroom. "They put him on the floor, they kicked his legs and beat him," he said. Ten or 15 other soldiers were watching, Mr Shamlawi recalled. "They all laughed," he said.
The army spokesman's office yesterday said an investigation had been opened and added that, following Colonel Virob's previous remarks, General Shamni had distributed pamphlets to troops underscoring that "when someone is detained, stopped or held ... Israel Defence Force soldiers ... are absolutely and clearly forbidden to use any force or violence against them".
