If things don't go right today, you might not express all that's on your mind because you don't want to stir up any trouble at work. Although your strategy appears to be the result of common sense, your suppressed feelings can create a commotion anyhow. Others may think you are being difficult and that you are hard to get along with now. It's better to speak your piece, as long as you don't try to place blame on anyone else.

NECOLEBITCHIE on the BET Awards....

I’m on a layover but had to address a few questions, rumors and random stuff regarding the BET awards last night. Check it:

Why Didn’t BET allow Chris Brown to perform?
If you are like me, you were under the impression that BET would allow Chris Brown to perform a tribute to Michael Jackson this year at their awards show. Especially after an appearance from Don Cornelius (who beat his wife), I thought the Chris Brown performance was a “go”. However the BET AWards show ended with a performance by Ne-Yo (who had took to the stage atleast 3 times prior) and Jamie Foxx but no Chris Brown.

From what I hear, Chris Brown really wanted to perform at this year’s Awards show and was willing to pay to make it happen (hmmm). In fact, I hear BET eventually gave him the green light to perform before calling him back with the news that it probably wouldn’t be in their best interest. Why??? Let’s just say, Cover Girl (endorsed by Rihanna) was one of the sponsors of this year’s BET Awards and they threatened they would pull their sponsorship from the Awards show if they allowed Chris to perform. Of course whatever the amount was that Chris “allegedly” was willing to pay wouldn’t offset the money lost from the Cover Girl sponsorship and BET would be better off turning Chris down than to tarnish their relationship with CG. *this could be rumor but I heard this from a very reliable source*. Also, I’m hearing that Jay-z told BET if Chris performed then he would pull out but again this is just rumor.

Why Didn’t Kanye West perform?
I’m still trying to figure this one out and if you find out, please let me know. I doubt it has anything to do with being stuck up his girl’s azz. (the running joke on Twitter)

Where was Usher?
Apparently Usher was overseas and could not take part in this year’s festivities. I received this statement from his publicist:

“It is with regret that I am unable to participate in the BET Awards Tribute to Michael Jackson on June 28th. When the BET Awards producers and organizers reached out to me to participate in the tribute, I was extremely flattered and humbled by the opportunity to pay tribute to the world’s greatest musical icon. Unfortunately, I am currently overseas and would not make it back in time to the Awards show. I look forward to seeing the show and I plan to work on a tribute to Michael Jackson when I return.”
What happened to Drake?
I know Drake’s performance was a little odd. Who performs an entire rap song at an Award’s show while sitting down. I was curious to how he was going to work out his performance as soon as he walked into the Shrine with a cane. If that didn’t give folks flashbacks of Degrassi!!

He announced on twitter that he tore his ACL (ligament in the knee) while playing basketball a few days before the show. Sounds VERY painful but congrats to “Drake’s ACL” for making Trending topics last night on twitter.

Why is the homie Q Tip So Mad At BET?
Via His Twitter last night:

What does BET stand for guys?

RT @Ashiya_ANS: @QtipTheAbstract 1.) Brainwashing-Every-Teen 2.) Blatant-Ego-Trippin’ 3.) Bad-Ethinc-Television

RT @moprice: @QtipTheAbstract Blacks Exploited Terribly

how do u have chaka khan at the bet awards and she doesnt sing her cover of got to be there

BET is f*cking trash!!!
Dizzzaaaaam!! i am disappointed there was no dance tribute but well… it was what it was…
Was Joe Jackson Serious????
I walked out of the Awards the same time as Joe Jackson and there was a Michael Jackson look alike walking a few steps ahead of him. I know i wasn’t tripping! But anyway, the question at hand is: Did Joe really promote his record label while speaking to CNN about Michael’s death on the red carpet. What kind of tomfoolery??? I think he came to the awards to get on. SMH…
___________________________

10:45pm Blackberry juice ran out before the end of the show.

Maxwell was a class act with his “pretty wings” performance. Janet Jackson made an emotional surprise apperance. The Michael Jackson tribute featured Jamie Foxx and Ne-yo. I don’t know why I thought it was going to be a bigger bang!

Questions I need answers to:
Why did BET end the show on such a sad note?

Why did Kanye show up but didn’t perform although it was publicized that he would?

Why wasn’t there a dance tribute. Michael was a performer. An entertainer.

Why did Beyonce perform the same exact performance of “ava Marie” from her concert set?

The placement of Young Money’s “Every Girl” in the show was just odd. We just listened to The Ojay tribute, Maxwell, Bell Biv Devoe, Guy, Keith Sweat. Tevin Campbell and then Lil Wayne? We gots to do better…

The show was definitely dedicated to R & B
and all the hip hop acts just seemed out of place.

Also, I need to see the reruns because according to my twitter friends the broadcast and production was a hot mess i enjoyed the show so I beg to differ.

By the way,I will post why Chris Brown didn’t perform tomorrow! Bye!

Monday, June 22

this is the day that rihanna went to trial for getting beat up by chris brown.

things that have reinspired me today:
Drake – The Calm
Uh.
I’m just so far gone.
October’s own.
Please leave me alone.
Drunk off champagne, screamin in the phone.
See my house is not a home, fuck is goin on?
Where did we go wrong, where do we belong?
Caught up in the game and it’s one I can’t postpone.
Meaning if it rains, I’m the one it’s rainin on.
When my diamond chain is on, still nothin set in stone.
Women borrow sweaters that I spray with my cologne.
And tell me don’t forget em and I promise that I won’t.
Feelin so distant from everyone I’ve known.
To make everybody happy I think I would need a clone.
Places we get flown, parties that we’ve thrown.
I’ve done more for this city than these rappers that have blown.
It’s only been three years, look at how I’ve grown.
I’m just in my zone, I call this shit The Calm.
Yeah, but I’m the furthest thing from calm.
Dedicated to my mom and I swear my word is bond.
Everything will be ok and it won’t even take that long.
You can see it in my face or even read it on my palm.
Leader of the new school, it’s proven and it’s known.
I’m sittin in a chair, but in the future it’s a throne.
I know you like to worry, it’d be better if you don’t, cuz.

[Interlude - Drake talking]
Ya know . . . Everything gon be alright, I promise.
I apologize to y’know. Put y’all in this position. . . vent to y’all, but . . .
Forty Momma always say, “Don’t ask permission, just ask forgiveness.” Y’know.
So . . . Forgive me . . . Yeah . . . Yeah, I say

[Verse 2]
Uh,
And life is so insane.
Look at what I became.
Tryin to make a name.
All my first dates are interrupted by my fame.
Because every picture taken is a fan that you can gain.
They love it when you smile, unaware that there’s a strain.
It’s a curse you gotta live with when you’re born to entertain.
Women need attention, and for it women will complain.
Develop hatred for men sayin you’re the one to blame.
Try to enjoy myself with Taz in Miami at the game.
I just wish he knew how much it really Wade like Dwayne.
There’s a weight that’s on my chest, whoever spottin me is playin.
So I’m liftin all alone, tryin not to get a sprain.
Hopin Western Union doin currency exchange.
Cuz my Dad called and got me feelin guilty and ashamed.
Like, how I had a Rolls and I went and got a Range.
And he payin for his cigarettes with dollas and some change.
Damn.
And I can only feel his pain,
Cuz in Memphis, Tennessee there’s only so much to attain.
So I’m fillin out the form at the counter once again.
He say he love me, I just hope he doesn’t say that shit in vain.
Why your girl heart is in a slang,
Call me Heartbreak Drake I’m the hardest one to tame.
As a man I’m just honest, as an artist I’m a king.
With my own set of problems that be sittin on my brain.
Yeah, and see this is the thing.
What they viewin as bright, and it’s the way that I maintain.
The shit I write while starin out the window of a plane,
Is the single-handed reason I remain . . .

[End - Drake talking]
ME.
Yea.
Uh, I said I call this shit The Calm, but I’m the furthest thing from calm.
I swear I’m puttin on, but they always wanna ask what type of act they puttin on.
Like . . . man.

so today is brittany's going to put you on the all things brittany day.
if you're interested take a ride with me.

i love this drake review:

"Always knew that I could figga
how to get these label heads to offer 'em good figgas
And me doin the shows getting everyone nervous
'Cause them hipsters gon have to get along wit them hood niggas"

And so begins Drake's legitimate crossover from rapper to rapper slash singer, a transition that has almost never ended smoothly in hip hop. Kanye West delivered an album of computer-enhanced vocalizing in 2008 that was by far the most polarizing release of the year, among both critics and fans. Drake's "So Far Gone" treads similar waters—much of the production (especially what's handled by executive producer 40) seems to be influenced by Kanye's "pop art" beat making, combining moody background samples with distinct drums that drive Drake's flows. The first two tracks on the mixtape are admirably bold, not greeting fans of his witty rap verses with a couple sixteens but instead with contemplative singing and relatively restrained verses that straddle the line between rapping and spoken word.

I've talked to several fans of Drake's who listened to the mixtape and it seems to have polarized many, opening up to a wider audience while at the same time alienating some of those who've been following him since "Room for Improvement." A strong number of Kanye's strongest followers hated "808s & Hearbreak," but Drake's listeners will be relieved to hear the that when he does rap (we'll say a little more than 50% of the mixtape is flat out spitting), it's as clean as the best of "Comeback Season." "Ignant Shit" is likely the best example of Drake's dedication to a complex rhyme scheme and wordplay, and makes a strong case for an authentic collaboration with Just Blaze. Lil Wayne is at his personal best, spitting better than he did on the actual Jay album, ("and you can suck my wings // stand on my money, head butt Yao Ming // put ya hand in the oven if ya touch my things // I'm shuffling the cards, bout to cut my queens") but not before Drake sets the bar considerably high:

"It's all good, I'm goin off like lights when the show's over
Make pasta, rent a movie, call hoes over
Rest in peace to Heath Ledger but I'm no joker
I'll slow roast ya, got no holsta'
Wet glass on ya table nigga no coaster
Burn bread every day bwoi no toaster
G n Taz got a sig but I'm no smoker
They just hand the chips to me, nigga no poker"

Now this is the kind of rapping a lot of hip hop fans were hoping Drake would lace his entire mixtape with. Ever since he spit his now notorious "blue's clue" line on "Ransom" and had his "Money to Blow" verse performed by Lil Wayne at the VMAs, the aforementioned "hood niggas"—or rather fans of harder hip hop—have started to pay attention to him. This question of identity has remained a blessing and a curse throughout the young rapper's career, as it's taken him a long time to be taken as a serious MC since starring as Wheelchair Jimmy in tween soap opera Degrassi. Now that he's got a demographic that includes female fans of the show and a hip hop fanbase fueled largely by Lil Wayne's co-signature and a remix of Lykke Li's sensational "Little Bit," he seems prepared to transition again into a full-fledged rapper/singer, a rarity in the mainstream.

"So Far Gone" is unquestionably one of the most cohesive, atmospheric hip hop records in recent memory—which is almost the antithesis of what one expects from a mixtape. Drake is not a gangster rapper and never goes down that path, instead proving how many ways there are to cleverly rap about problematic relationships and being on the verge of stardom. The middle of the tape is generally dedicated to rapping over other beats: from Santogold's "Unstoppable" to Kanye West's "Say You Will." The latter is a Budden-esque three minutes of pure dumbing out, including a particularly clever encapsulation of his career ("transitioning from fitting in to standing out"). Even in these brief departures from 40 and Boy-1da's production, nothing on the mixtape ever feels out of place. There really isn't a weak track on the record; the closest thing to a misstep is the remix of Peter, Bjorn & John's "Let's Call It Off," an indie collaboration that's not quite as convincing as the brilliant Lykke Li remix.

Truthfully, I wish I could dedicate a paragraph to each track, from the awesomely obscure DJ Screw homage of "November 18th" to the blazing organs of "Uptown," a surprise collaboration between Wayne, Drake and Bun B. I'll instead finish off with an excerpt of "The Calm," an excellent microcosm of the mood of the mixtape as a whole. Drake spits two verses here, both rhyming the same syllable the entire time.

Last call for industry blowout
For some, the party is over.Media, marketers, major labels – and, yes, the ladies – are pursuing Aubrey Graham, alias Drake. The Toronto rapper without an album is stirring up a frenzy that will be felt on the red carpet of the MuchMusic Video Awards tonight

He doesn't have a video of his own in rotation. He's never even made a studio album. But make no mistake: rapper Drake is one of the most anticipated guests at tonight's MuchMusic Video Awards.

"The red carpet is going to be bananas," said MuchMusic VJ Devon Soltendieck of Toronto-born Aubrey Graham's first local appearance since his sold-out show at Sound Academy last month.

Since his third mixtape So Far Gone was released in February, Drake (aka Drizzy) – who starred for eight seasons as paraplegic Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi: The Next Generation – has slowly become rap's hottest property.

"Hip hop has been hungry for its next big star," said New York-based Elliot Wilson, founder and CEO of RapRadar.com. "(Early in the year) people were talking about Asher Roth, Kid Cudi and Wale, and no one put Drake in. But by April, it was all about Drake."

And it's been more about Drake since his storied May 26 performance at Manhattan's hip S.O.B.'s club, which was jammed with about 300 tastemakers, celebrities, journalists and record executives, such as Warner Music boss Lyor Cohen.

Each day seems to yield new chatter about the 22-year-old, who is working on his debut album for a fall release but remains unsigned despite being wooed by major American record labels. He says it himself on top track "Best I Ever Had": "Buzz so big I could probably sell a blank disc."

In just the past two weeks:

June 6: Drake's managers say they plan to sue Canadian Money Entertainment for selling an unauthorized album, The Girls Love Drake, which features selections from So Far Gone.

June 7: His unscheduled cameo at Hot 97 FM's annual summer concert at Giants Stadium is thunderously received. It's considered an anointing by the Big Apple's hip-hop cognoscenti.

June 10: At the Black Eyed Peas' CD release party in NYC, Drake is photographed with singer Rihanna, fuelling rumours that they're an item. He has said they are friends, collaborating on her next album.

June 14: Kanye West directs the video for Drake's "Best I Ever Had." Jay-Z and Common are spotted on the New York set.

June 15: It's announced that Drake is going back on tour with Lil Wayne (the pair hit the Molson Amphitheatre Aug. 4), and will appear on the lead single for Jay-Z's forthcoming album. The same day, he performs on The Tonight Show alongside Jamie Foxx.

June 16: Complex magazine nominates So Far Gone the third best album so far of 2009.

June 18: Drake is named as an MMVA presenter.

"He's searched (online) twice as much as Eminem, who just dropped a record but is mostly selling to old fans," said Yves Darbouze, CEO of pLot Multimedia, a New York-based marketing firm behind campaigns for the likes of Frank Sinatra, Alicia Keys, Toyota and Pepsi.

The company pursued a contract with Drake after determining his "blue-chip" marketability, in part by measuring the algorithms of positive vs. negative online comments. The performer, who now shares management with Kanye West and Lil Wayne, scored an "off the charts" 78 per cent, compared with, say, Diddy's career range of 48-58 per cent, or 50 Cent's 38-48 per cent, according to Darbouze.

"We wanted to work with Drake more than any artist we have worked with before," said Darbouze. "We had several face-to-face meetings with management, but then he got so busy – he reached critical mass – and we didn't close the deal and the window of opportunity closed."

A performing producer along the lines of Pharrell Williams and will.i.am, Toronto's Slakah the Beatchild is benefiting from Drakemania: there's increasing interest in his just-released debut Soul Movement Vol. 1, which features three songs recorded with the rapper two years ago.

"Within the music community, we all said Drake was going to be the next," said Slakah, citing the high-school dropout's tone, witticisms and delivery. "With his wordplay and understanding of metaphors, he'd be a great English professor. He can say something 10 different ways and make it rhyme."

On the strength of previous mixtapes, Room for Improvement (2006) and Comeback Season (2007), Drake came close two years ago to signing with Universal Motown, which is among his current pursuers.

It's acknowledged that subsequent mixtape collaborations with Lil Wayne, who took him on tour this winter, broadened Drake's appeal in the U.S.

"That was the ultimate co-sign," said Flow 93.5FM music director Justin Dumont, who has been playing him on air since February 2006, when "Do What You Do" arrived anonymously in the submissions pile. "He always had the talent, Lil Wayne gave him the credibility. He does what Kanye does, but in some people's opinions better. His music is really honest."

Rhyming talents aside, women have also been particularly responsive to Drake's collegiate good looks and his combination of vulnerability and swagger. "When you're a hip-hop artist and you can fill a club with more girls than guys ... He's pretty much the Derek Jeter of rap: guys want to be him and girls love him," said Darbouze. "He has the marketability of Will Smith and the musical gravitas of Kanye West."

Degrassi co-creater Linda Schuyler remembers Drake (it's his middle name) as "very charismatic, even as a rather awkward 13-year-old when he started here. He had a way of connecting with people. We would do these mall tours, 3,000 to 4,000 teens screaming for the Degrassi kids, and you could see that Aubrey set off that energy."

Wilson said the offspring of a Memphis-based black musician dad and white Jewish educator in Forest Hill is a border-hopping barrier-crosser. "He's Canadian, he's half-Jewish, that's a novelty," he explained. "Stereotypes of region and race are being challenged, yet he has no credibility issues and he's comfortable in his own skin."

It wasn't always that way. In 2006, Drake spoke with the Star about being a racial minority at Forest Hill Collegiate. "It was very awkward," he said. "I never had a girlfriend. Not one of those girls would bring me home. It would be too risky."

"His parents represented two different sides of life," said Schuyler. "As he got older, he needed to find ways to reconcile those two different influences. Music was a wonderful outlet for him and he turned out to be extraordinarily talented."

The entertainer recently told Vibe magazine that his goals are to win a Best New Artist Grammy, finish high school and resume acting. In that same 2006 Star interview he said, "I'd definitely like to be an icon. Not only in the city, but across the world."

have you seen a girl that makes you wanna change yah.
then take her home and bang her.
the misters they are strangers.
sittin in your corner just sippin your drink.
i really didn't think.
that i would meet a girl that makes my heart just sink.
i just want to stare at her.
be near her, see with her.
see and touch and just feel with her.
and taste and breathe and just be with her.
rise with her ride with her, cuz her she is a rider,
i mean when i saw her i was ridin her.
this girl she makes me crazy.
i feel i am not on her level, like i cannot compare to she.
cuz this girl she got that saw like weezy f. baby.
and you know i am the girl that weezy should be fuckin baby.
and she love pussy she's a pussy eating lady.
man i told you that my life was fuckin crazy.
she reacts with a reaction that they never have it scares me.
but i've never felt so clearly.
and i just go with feelings and
she makes me feel so daring.
god she even makes me corny.
and you know what i'm gonna say next,
cuz you know she makes me horny.
nervous, but exicted. she hates being lonely.
i jus wanna know her get inside her...

but she tortures me instead,
i'm the book you haven't read.
it's coming soon, before i'm dead.
so open up to my world.
get inside my head.
i am not boring,
my mind is worth exploring
but i don't really let em in.
and often it's feelings i'm ignoring.

but really where do i begin.
i'm set to have you're heart,
but i'm also set to win.i want to have it all.
but all do want to let me in.
so i'm breakin down the door i am screamin let me in.
i am nick belane i hit that door like the bottle.
you wanna breathe me in ,you wanna live by my motto.
you want to slip yourself in like you wanna hit the lotto.
i am the new religion, and i'm skinny like a model.
it's the top that i'll be touring.
and sometimes i get wild.
but i'd never call it whoring.
it's my voice that they'll hear roaring.

i am not a puppetmaster.
i just love to love, it's why you love me.
i'm disaster.

i have one direction, it's the top.
so life's a bastard.
a fatherless child, but i am my father's daughter.
he always used to leave. but he's always been a father.
to me, and now i'm realizing
how much i take after him, i know it happens.
but it's suprising.
and that's trulu why he gets me.
understand, that i cannot be tamed.
but i'm like the wind i'm alway there.
i'm on your brain, you're in my hert.
and it doesn't matter where.
see i just wanna live life, i just see it so clear.
i just want to have this girl by my side.
i want her there when i make it, when i'm made.
when i'm dollface of the years.
i'm tryin to do it all.
just wanna have a ball.
and drizzy said it best cuz when you're born to entertain.
everyone wants a smile, and they all want to gain.
everyone wants some miles, and everyone wants a piece.
of you and your money.
you're a carnivore, i'm meat.
and sometimes i just want to get away and grab some peace
and somebody, that certain somebody.
they just listen and get you when your hurtin somebody.
and when you can't have them you're hurtin somebody.
flirtin, fuckin nobody's.
tryin to just fill that void,
with a face and a body.
but you know she's the one.
la unica, yo la deseo.
pero ella, si ella,
es la unica que no tengo.
la unica cosa que quiero.
hablando mierda ella, haciendo mierda con ella.
pizando, pizando, pizando con ella.
i'm done yo. it's done though. yes, it's a done deal.
i'm a firecracker but she got that whip appeal.

poor thing this girl's a mess.

Desperately wanting to see her ex-deejay lover, Lindsay Lohan was spotted paying a late night visit to Samantha Ronson’s home on Friday night (June 19).

According to a paparazzo source, the troubled young actress was reportedly in tears in her car as she waited outside the property.

Making her way up to the doorstep, the insider tells that Samantha made Lindsay wait for awhile on her doorstep before finally relenting and letting her in.

The visit comes just one day after reports that LiLo was out partying and spent the night at “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest’s pad the previous evening.

“Lindsay was obviously trying to hide from the paparazzi,” a photog revealed. “Ryan didn’t seem to care. It was almost as if he were proud to be with Lindsay. Ryan was laughing while Lindsay ducked down behind the seat of the car .”

“They were obviously partying inside, the music was so loud!” said the photographer. “I don’t think Ryan has any idea what he’s getting into.”

megan fox stays lookin yummy.
but she's real though, ever since that interview i read a while back
the way i look at her has completely changed. i feel like i see her now.
i dunno. weird.

The good news is that “Jonah Hex” is finally getting the recognition he deserves, with an awesome recent episode of “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” and an upcoming “Jonah Hex” movie starring Josh Brolin. The better news is that Megan Fox plays a barely-dressed prostitute in the August 2010 film, and that sequels are in the works.

The bad news? Well, Megan is barely in “Jonah Hex.” In fact, when it comes to her role, she even went so far as to invoke the dreaded “c” word.

“It’s basically a cameo,” revealed Fox when we spoke with her recently. “She’s a twisted love-interest to Jonah’s character; my part’s pretty small.”

As fans know, Jonah Hex populates a deadly world filled with lies, lead and life-threatening encounters. Which is why Fox’s next statement made it seem even less likely that her character Leila would be returning for those sequels.

“I worked the first week, and then I was shot out of the movie,” explained the beauty, who can be seen in next week’s “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” “My scenes with Josh were my favorite, because he really pushed me as an actor. He obviously knows what he’s doing.”

Although the film, directed by relative-newcomer Jimmy Hayward, is a no-nonsense genre flick, Fox was quick to point out that Josh Brolin approached it with the same acting chops as his recent Oscar-nominated work in “Milk.” “He’s a really amazing acting coach,” she said of Brolin’s efforts to help Fox improve as an actress. “He wouldn’t let me slide and do the things that I’m comfortable doing. Like, he really made me uncomfortable. He made me work - which I appreciate. I think that will hopefully pay off for me.”

And although Megan may not get much screentime in “Jonah Hex,” she said that the film is some of her best acting yet – and Brolin’s work may be nothing short of iconic. “He is a sort of chemically-enhanced, nuclear John Wayne on steroids,” Fox said of Jonah.

Has Hollywood gone from make-believe to fake-believe?

Sometimes a star's best performance, the one that drives the hordes into their seats and keeps them buying that pricey popcorn, happens outside the theatre.

The best current example of this is the craze for Megan Fox, whose summer blockbuster Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens Wednesday.

That someone so fetching stars in a fanboy fave is naturally a huge draw. The first flick in 2007, also starring Fox, grossed more than $700 million (U.S.).

But it now appears that simply being gratuitously gorgeous on the big screen is no longer enough. What has set the Internet a-Twitter are the "real life" glimpses of Fox on a photo shoot, or waking up in the morning and rolling around on her bed (sans bed head or pillow face, of course). Meanwhile (crazy coincidence!), topless pictures of Fox have leaked and spread all over the web, and she's talking to magazines about "girl crushes." And last but not least, there's a new tongue-in-cheek YouTube video suggesting that much of the computer-generated imagery (CGI) budget for Revenge of the Fallen goes to digitally mastering Fox's hotness.

The line between reality and buzz-inducing fantasy is being blurred. How, then, can we tell whether Fox is for real, or a figment of some savvy movie producer's imagination? Weighing the evidence:

Real: A "day in the life" video on Esquire magazine's website (tinyurl.com/wakeupmegan) shows her drinking beer. Real girls drink beer. She's also seen eating, and it looks as if she's eating something greasy. Real girls do that, too (though her "eating" looks more like "lip-licking" and "breast-touching posing as crumb-brushing").

Fake: Same video. No one, not even Angelina Jolie, wakes up looking like that.

Real: She has crushes on cute boys, the current one being a South Korean singer named Rain who sings a lot about rain.

Fake: Someone so gorgeous talking about having a "girl crush" is just too good (for the lads) to be true.

Real: Fox gives real live interviews to real live reporters. Also, she has a Wikipedia entry, and they check those things.

Fake: Wikipedia (and other sources) reveals that her last name was changed from Foxx to Fox. Suspicious. Take the "n" out of her name, and you get "Mega Fox." And her resemblance to Jolie has spawned the nickname "Angelina 2.0."

Real: She was nominated for a big award: an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.

Fake: C'mon, it's MTV. Remember, Milli Vanilli won a Grammy.

Real: Rumours abound she'll play Lara Croft in a Tomb Raider prequel, taking a role made famous by Jolie, a real Oscar-winner. "What you end up doing is working your butt off. That's just something you can't fake," said Jolie of her role.

Fake: Fox doesn't have the role. Yet. Perhaps the CGI needs upgrading.

Two new topics concerning the latest movie in the Harry Potter franchise aka Half Blood Prince, and some would consider these major spoilers and as such may be seen as revealing as say when Warner Brothers released all those damn clips from the film Goblet Of Fire before the film was even released. So, to which I will put these under the cut.

One concerns the excuse the British Film Classafication Board has given to the rating of the sixth film in the series which includes some really detailed descriptions of two key scenes that appeared to help sway their decision to give the film a 12A rating. These sound really promising and give me new hope in this movie and that it will be more than this damn rom-com bull crap. The next, and possibly more explosive release, is the full Tom Riddle memory scene in HBP that was shown at the recent MTV awards is now online with a slightly longer cut.

The explanation contains what some may consider as spoilers, so please click the link below to continue reading! BBFC's rating explanation:

'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', a fantasy adventure film based on the book of the same title, finds Harry and his friends returning to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for their sixth year. The film contains moderate threat. The moderate threat occurs in one quite scary sequence in which Harry and Professor Dumbledore are attacked by menacing looking creatures that have emerged from an underground lake. Harry is pulled into the lake and dragged beneath the water.

The scene has the potential to upset younger or more sensitive children.

In another scene Draco Malfoy kicks Harry (below screen) and appears to break his nose; blood can be seen on Harry's face. Tables are turned later on in the film when Harry defeats Malfoy in a wand battle in the school toilets. Malfoy, who is rendered unconscious, has several bloodstains on his white shirt and his blood can be seen to mix with and cloud the water on the flooded floor. Malfoy, however, is soon completely healed by a nearby teacher.

The film contains mild language including the words 'God', 'bloody', tosser', 'sod', 'hell' and 'git'.

I am glad that the more recent bits of news of this movie shows that the darker, more sinister elements are being kept in this film so hopefully like POA I will get the gorgeous visuals along with a more sinister and cruel edge to the proceedings. I will always lament the loss of Cuaron from the HP as imo he was the best thing that ever happened to them, but if Yates can give me something akin to it in HBP and indeed Deathly Hallows then I will be happy.
